ROKA was founded in 1949 by Jo Roodenrijs in Delft, the Netherlands, and is renowned for its unique Cheese Crispies. The brand name combines “ROodenrijs” and “KAastabletten” (cheese crispies). Known for their exceptional quality, ROKA’s products gained popularity with prestigious clients like KLM Airlines and the Holland America Line. In 1984, the company moved to a larger factory in Emmeloord due to growing demand. After being sold in 2002 to Wim Bontje, the company continued to flourish, and in 2016, it was acquired by Peter Destrooper and Wim Van Roy.
